At present, all watches sold at Citizen’s designated sales outlets will be labeled with a unique single product barcode label, which is equivalent to bringing an ‘ID’ to each Citizen watch to prove the authenticity of the product and protect consumer rights. This is also the first innovation in the customer service level of Citizen since the first release of ‘True Action’ customer service system in the watch industry in 2008.
Citizen’s single product barcode management brings great convenience to product identification and verification. After purchasing a Citizen watch with a single product barcode, consumers can call the Citizen customer service hotline 400-650-1958 or send an email to customer service Email [email protected] for product verification. Product verification requires consumers to provide three pages of Citizen’s ‘Certificate of Guarantee’ cover (purchase time, shopping mall) and the product model, manufacturing number and verification code displayed on the bar code label.
It is understood that in addition to Citizen’s customer service hotline and Citizen’s customer service mailbox can provide product verification services, Citizen’s official website will also open product verification functions in the future, aiming to ensure that consumers’ interests are not harmed through convenient and diverse product verification service channels. In addition, by implementing single product barcode management, Citizen can also strengthen the supervision of circulating goods and sales channels, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Citizen companies and regular sellers.
